I am from the Isle of Lewis, and currently study at the University of Aberdeen, I spend my time between both places. I forage for seaweed on the beaches of Lewis and Harris to create pressed seaweed prints. I have also began experimenting with cyanotype and other mixed media.

I like working with seaweed as it is a natural product and it is often something you don't think twice to look at on the beach. My favourite part of working with seaweed is the variety of colours that are retained from pressing them onto paper. Each pressed seaweed is unique and you never get two the same.
