Born and brought up on the Isle of Lewis, I'm a self taught artist. My inspiration comes from the colours and shapes to be seen in the land and sea. I paint portraits and landscapes using oils or acrylics.
In 2018 I won the Daler Rowney prize at Patchings Art Festival, Nottingham. In 2020 I was a contestant in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. My work has been long listed twice, in 2020 and 2021, for Scottish Portrait awards. In 2022 a painting was exhibited in the Mall Galleries London following selection by the Society of Women Artists.
